I don't know how many guys her know of Steve Rinella, but he tweeted today about a long mule deer migration. Kind of interesting:

I know studies have been done up in region 6 with collared deer and they migrated hundreds of Kms between spring and fall. Im sure many just stay local also.

There's designated wildlife crossings (large multiplate culverts where there's no water with openings in the fence) regularly all along the Coq

Migration of mule deer (Rocky Mt Type) from Bonaparte Lake herds to Kamloops Lake each year.
One way there one way back every year since man kept records of the muley kinds.

but they forgot to put signs up so the deer get confused and don't like to use th culverts...been proven that lost of animals won't enter the culverts...thats why you see overpasses that are forested in a lot of parks now.
