Well, they haven't announced the regulations for this year yet, but last year there was a GOS Aug 1 - Oct 15.

edit: just to clarify, a portion of 6-20 (the park) is LEH only but the rest is GOS.

There is no open season for thinhorn mountain sheep, except as provided in the Limited Entry Hunting Regulation (B.C. Reg. 134/93), in that portion of M.U. 6-20 described as Spatsizi Park in Schedule 2 of the Limited Entry Hunting Regulation.

You will be hard pressed to find a sheep in the open portion of 6-20 outside the park....the beauty part is you have at least a 100 other great areas to hunt sheep in....:)

There are sheep in 6-20, open for regular season, no draw! Hwy accessible. Why bother hunting fringe ranges and dealing with crap weather which is too common in that area. Figure out where the prime range is and hunt in the outfitters neighborhood. They locate camps close to sheep range, just not their main camps, which need air or boat access to get large assed hunters in.

If you're not bow hunting, I think your chances would be much better on the west side of the highway and you have a chance at a big billy as well.
