Hunted Del Rio thirty years ago for Moose. Don't remember much about it though, it was a long time ago. Me and a Buddy are interested in hunting this area in the fall for two or three weeks with quads and horses. Can you get all the way to Septimus from Chetwynd? I hear that there was lots of oil and gas work in the area. Has that slowed down? Still worth the effort? Any local info would be appreciated.

Is that old Le Tourneau tree crusher machine still out in the bush at the Del Rio?

I've never seen it myself but I have heard about it. Unless it's been cut into pieces it's probably still there.

Holy you guys are really old!!! The del rio is like a metropolis now!! It's busier than a whore house after payday!! It's a gong show from August. 15- October 30, and that I'm not kidding about!! Moosin

Times two on that total circus, waste of a horse better to get into some better off the beaten track country for sure.

We've pounded it pretty hard with seismic lines. Both sides of the Pine River. Especially 3 summers ago. But we pulled all of our bridges after we were done.
