My buddies logging north of town says snow is still pretty deep other than roads that are plowed for logging

Snow is still deep, we are going out in another 10 days for a try. South of town is plowed but nothing north on the highway side of the lake.

Snow level 45 minutes away in Sicamous is 12" deep at 2500' on the trails. That is about as far as we could go on every trail on the mountian. Revelstoke had about 3 times the amount of snow we had this past winter. so I would guess there is alot of snow on the ground still. In the clearings the snow was patchy up to the 2500' elevation. No sign of any new grass growing yet from 1500' and up. The valley floor has green grass growing nicely and bears are out down low.
