Hello Everyone,

Can anyone comment on hunting the Nahatlatch area (3-15). Or I guess the Boston Bar area in general. I've not spent any time around there and I'm thinking of camping a few days up in that area in September. I'll most likely aim for a white-tail.

thanks,

B

You will have a hard time finding a WT in that area. I have never heard of anyone seeing one in that area.

You are more likely to see mule deer and black bear

If you are looking for WT I would pick a different area

It's a tough, thick and steep place to hunt, you won't find WT however blacktail, mules and bear and sometimes Grizzly depending where you go. There are far better areas to go IMO.

And just like that, my plan is destroyed!

Only for whitetail, hit Christian valley for WT

With BC's management of WT trying to suppress them expanding their range you will find lots of liberal seasons for WT in areas with little to no WT population.

If you want to target WT you need to look into areas a head of time to be sure if there is a population worth the effort.
