elk .. sicamous

I was on my way to revelstoke this morning after many years of going back and forth. i have many nice moose in malawkwa and some decent deer. this morning was a real nice surprise i spotted 6 elk in a field along side of the hwy. has anyone else spotted many elk in this area. I am thinking once the ground dries a bit i will explore the area behind skyline truck stop in hopes for a decent bear

i've only seen some as north as mabel and sugar lakes..

They're around north Spallumcheen area from time to time according to a reliable source, but I've yet to see one myself.

A heard of 8-10 elk in the field, end of Sherlock road in Sicamous last spring. They are around

i have seen tons of sign just north of falkland

I've seen them by the drive-in just outside Enderby.

I have been driving everyday from Salmon Arm to Malakwa for about 14 years and only last year for the first time we started seeing a small heard of about 10 almost every day during the winter until about 9am then would be gone. This year however have only seen a couple once??
