I am thinking about 3-35 as my LEH second choice. I have driven through from Hwy 1 to Seymour Arm. Nice area. Has anyone hunted Goat in there? Thinking Kip Mtn or Eagle Pass Mtn. Maybe further up Perry on the east side of the road nearing the north end of 3-35? Looks like some decent elevation along there. 2300 to 2400 M. Any comments, tips appreciated. Thx.

where are you coming from to hunt. There are some good areas here in the Revelstoke area. If your happy in 3-35 there is a healthy population above three valley gap. just for your info you get one month longer to hunt goats here in region four.

I am in the southern interior. 3-35 on the north side of the hi-way. Is this the area above 3 valley gap you are talking about? There are only certain goat zones in 3-35 for LEH. Up the Perry is pretty much it. I am choosing Lillooet area for my first choice, so 3-35 would be my back up plan. I may do some scouting in 3-35 this summer when the snow moves up a bit.

Have never been on an easy goat hunt but that 3 valley gap country looks real tough. Thick, steep and a ways to tree line. Bet there would be some good Billies there though.

I am not sure when you last drove through to Seymour Arm, but the road on the North Fork (Perry River) had three crossings go in fall of 2010 between 23-km and 48-km that had not been repaired last I heard (2013). This was an area a co-worker said there are goats.

The 3-35 draw area does include part of 3-36 so Gorge Creek FSR which accesses Anstey Arm would be in that area. There are many side valleys to the east up there that would allow some access closer to Alpine. Third Creek (41.5-km) and Fifth Creek (49-km) come to mind. I do forestry work back there at times in the year. I have not seen goats, but the country looks rugged enough to hold them.

Best of luck if you get the draw.

Thanks Kowabunga, this is the info I was hoping to learn.
I was unclear in my original post. I had driven to Seymour Arm up the Gorge FSR.
There are some good valley accesses from the Gorge. If I pull it in the draw I will
do some serious scouting. Too bad the bridges are out, but that also means little to
no hunting activity up there. Should be some decent billies if a person could get
in there.

I have heard they are repairing or building a new road on other side of valley from 30k-45km, not sure when it will b done (northfork) I have spent lots of time in there, and have seen very few goats, steep and rugged from 30 -45
