Blond phase feral pigs?

Has anyone heard of the blond phase feral pig? Anyone ever see it? Supposed to be the more tender and tasty of the hogs....

Has anyone heard of the blond phase feral pig? Anyone ever see it? Supposed to be the more tender and tasty of the hogs....


I've seen Feral pig in texas that were Orange, Red, Black, Spotty, Stripy, Saddled and yes, Blonde. It might be the presence of more domestic genes that makes it more tender, but pigs are a very variable species, and any feral pig in the US may well throw up some odd colourations due to it's ancestry, even if otherwise it appears boar like.
