Iv never really seen quill body chironomids sold in stores, sometimes you have to step outside the box, and it works, these patterns are my favorite and have slaughtered the trout

Im sure they are out their like you found, I cant remember the last time iv bought a fly so I dont really hunt them down. Just never seen them in the fly bins at stores
