room on your halibut licence?

the new salt water licences are due on the 1st,so if you have any room on your licence for halibut[6 annual ,daily possession 1],it might be a good time to get out.We were off Sooke yesterday and picked up our 1 fish limit each-nothing big, 12-20 lb ,but they were there.You only have a couple more days in the current licence year

went back to the same spot today -1 halibut....we had 9 on two days ago,landed 4.Funny-none of them had food in their stomach,nothing...thats halibut fishing....
