I caught most of it. It is pretty much the same as always. The antis saying miss leading statements. The guy phones in to say he is a hunter and then goes on to throw the bear hunters under the bus when he says he does not support trophy grizzly hunting. Then the pro hunters tries to get in his 2 cents. We need to be more proactive. We know this comes each spring just before April 1st. We need to have a plan just like the antis. News releases and media interviews so we get the correct message out not the reactionary defensive one.
How come no one ever mentions the fact that some folks live in grizzly country. Hunting instills fear in the grizzly so they avoid conflict with humans?

The anti's call it Trophy Hunting but it is actually Wildlife management.We really need to stress this point they can not argue that and look credible. Bears will be killed by CO's at the taxpayers expense or buy hunters for free.

Correct that, by CO's at our expense, or by hunters, with revenue generated toward the BC economy. Even better than free.

The anti grizzly bear hunters are really anti bear hunters. They wont stop at grizzlies, and most of their messages are aimed at stopping bear hunts all together. CO's already kill roughly 500 black bears a year, and over 20 grizz last year at eveyones expense, not to mention the thousands of calls they have to respond to. If the anti hunter estimates of 4000 grizz in BC are true, how come their are over 3000 grizz draws a year and the numbers are still growing with increasing bear human conflict? It drives me mental the way caged city folk think they know everything and end up making most of the decisions.
