just looking for little help regarding road access, will be heading up may 23 to june 2 nd, due to work commitments this is only open part on my schedule, leaning towards headed up the finally and trying to get in close to the swannell area (manson river), though its been 20 years since last time ive been up there should I go up farther between osilinka and mesilinka rivers for south facing slopes? any info would be greatly appreciated to point me in a direction

I think south facing slopes may be too mature of veg by then. The kemess hydro r/w runs through there? That's where I'd be looking. More succulent veg at lower elevation at that time I'd think! Good luck, moosin

You will be good to go for access by then. don't know what areas are best for grizz though. havent hunted there yet but was up that way the other day.

I drove up into 38 last weekend. Hit a bit of snow but was able to drive through it. Not even a hint of green up there now so your timing will be good.

you're good to go if u see this in time. Made it to johansen the other day. There was a washout at 31km on the osilinka that was barely passable but it has apparently been patched up now.
