This beaut is just shy of 36 inches and just shy of 17 lbs. Hike 2 kms to honey hole. Fish for 15 minutes, fight fish for 30 minutes. Hike 2km out to truck and go home to get ready for church!!

Why waste your time in church when you can spend more time in the great outdoors, nice Laker go get some more.

Why waste time in church you ask ? We should get to know more about the creator that made the great outdoors, because one day all of us are going to pass away , than jugment time for each of us.
Where we spend eternity is soo important !

Fish was caught ice fishing. Ice is 30 inches thick. Lure -- no. Only allowed 1 laker over 50cm a day. Hence going home after catching it. After fighting that fish for 30 minutes my arms were shaking using that little ice fishing rod with 8lb test.
So little time, so many lakes.

I use to ice fish for Lakers up in Cold Lake, Alberta it was lots of fun and lots of fish. I mostly did the catch and release, but did keep the odd one for a feed.
