New Vortex Diamondback 4-16x42 HP bdc

Have any of you picked this scope up this spring? What are your thoughts?

I think they're still pretty new kennyg, the only diamondback hp owner I know of is the 2-8 power or whatever it is that todbartell just got a week or so ago and I believe that was the first one his store had received. I'm interested in these too. A lot of features packed in to a $500 scope.

I have the HP 2-8x and so far really like it. I feel the 3-12x42 may be the best all'round hunting scope out there today for the $

ya i have the 4-12 x 40 I like it a lot. but if i had to pick up another one I would go for the 50 pwr

You have the Diamondback, not the Diamondback HP. Also, 4-12 is the magnification, 40/50 is simply the size of the objective lens.

Have 2 of the 4x16's, one on my 243 and the other on my 284 . Have to get to the range to check them out. So far love the look, eye relief and power range with decent field of view. The Powder Keg in Kamloops has all 3 models of the HP in stock
