Just got to thinking the other day, realized I've shot three deer species, maybe only taken 6-7 deer total, figured I'd share a few with pictures.

Tag soup; but not for a lack of trying. Many, many kilometers hiked. New hunting grounds found. Turned into 2 1/2 year scouting mission.

Lots of fun and hard work. Can't wait for shed hunting and scouting in the coming month. Gonna have to get up to QCI for some sikta deer too.

Nice pictures!i've got the same gun in .308. Bought brand new at Cdn Tire 1984. I have taken blacktails, whitetails, mules, one rosie elk, four moose, a black bear and a grouse with it. Feels like an extension of my arm now LOL.
Good luck this season.

Congratulations! Thank you for sharing your story.

I sincerely hope you have enjoyed your Venison. All the best in the future, to yourself and to all of us here on Hunting BC likewise... Additionally I wish to assure you that you certainly are not the only one without a Harvest to show for those years Sir!

Variety is the spice of life ! That Fraser Valley BT is actually a pretty nice buck and that Whitetail looks like it sure had some nice genetics ... Congrats

just for the record that "blacktail" is way over the "line", but this spot truly is a crazy mixture of genetics.
