Any advice on when the peak of the elk rut typically occurs in the north end of Region 7.

The peak time for the elk rut in 7-53&7-54 would be the first week of Sept to the middle of Sept...

7-54 the rut peaks sept 11 😜

The after the season closes! Open season is Sept 1-10 only.

We killed one on Sep 2 and one on Sep 4. Rut was in full swing.

Seems to be about 1 1/2 weeks earlier up north than in the southern portion of the province.

Always found up here it peaks around sep 20th. Usually pretty slow first week September pretty hot also
