I see that is legal, in selected cases, to hunt in BC provincial parks - and - in the BC Map book, the hunter symbol suggests that these are good places for hunters to camp and by extension, probably hunt around. I was wondering what the rules actually were about hunting in these areas. Do you need a permit? I've scoured around a bit, but the info I've found seems vague. That being said, I have no intentions of hunting in a park, I was just enriching my personal knowledge.

The regs are clear about which parks you may hunt in

Not really
there used to be lots more info in the regs re parks but now it is best to go to BCPARKS and look up the specific park
See pg 11 of the regs

Yes as boxhitch said they used to include that info in the regs, not sure why they don't anymore it's important info. Best to print off the list and attach to your paper copy of regs.
