Didn't look very promising heading out due to the new snow creating more slush(5 inches in 15 inches of snow). But it turned out pretty good reguardless. Lake trout feast awaits. A larger trout was trying to steel the lure out of the 34 inchers mouth. I'm going back to this no-name lake and fish the no-name bay again!!
34 inches at 13 lbs. The other weighed 11.5 lbs. One is going to feed 2 families tonight!!

Nice fish! By the looks of their bellies they aren't going hungry. What did you say the name of that lake was?

They had very large kokanne inside. 12 inch large.

Those gotta be the best size for eating, last one that size I kept I cut into steaks, it was great.
