I finally took the time to figure out how to produce something with the video footage I took on last fall's horse hunting trip and thought I'd post it here. Thanks for watching!

you boy must be in one hell of good shape to be hiking all that distance

Really enjoyed your videos! Keep it up man, I'm going to subscribe to your channel right now! That footage of the bull moose with his cows was outstanding. He was a buff looking specimen eh. great to see you guys having fun out there like that. That's how we roll with me and my buds too. Hunt hard, but lots of laughs too! cheers and thanks for posting this awesome content

Awesome trips!!!

The picts of Thutade bring back lots of great memories. There is some good caribou hunting if you get back one valley from the lake, but they is not a lot of them, so glassing and covering some ground are expected.

Thanks for posting!!

Cheers

What kind of backpack was that holding the hind quarter of the moose?

What kind of backpack was that holding the hind quarter of the moose? We actually picked that up in Fort St. John when we had to go back for repairs on a quad trailer tire. It's a Badlands Ox pack http://badlandspacks.com/ox-hunting-.html which my partner couldn't quick bragging and talking about. He absolutely loved the fact that you can just slide it open and shove a whole hind quarter in it without it being in the same compartment as your gear.

Wow!
Awesome country & videos. A country that hunters dream about!

Any signs of wolves, bears?
We actually had our camp raided by a griz on the last night as we were going back down the trail, very close to Nevis camp. The people at the camp mentioned that we weren't the first hunters the griz had poached off and that he had caused them a lot of grief that fall. No wolves this trip although some other hunters we met had gotten one.

Great animals and great videos guys, glad to see the caribou are still in that area. I also got my first there over 20 years ago. That was in the day we could still use quads in there. It made the work a bit easier for sure. Great job on getting that moose out, what heavy packs. I pack moose most seasons, but am to old for hide and bone anymore lol.
great thread thanks for posting
