looking to take my dad on a self guided hunt for rocky mountain elk in northern BC. We are both comfortable in the bush, (I did remote bush work all over the yukon) and I wanted to get a chance to enjoy a special father and son hunt before age starts to physically limit what he can do. Does anyone have any recommendations on good outfits in Northern BC that run the drop off and pick up of camps and game? (I have heard good thing about riverjet adventures)

Riverjet (I'm booked with them this coming fall), or Steamboat Mountain Outfitters if you want a horse hunt.

With one of these trips what kind of gear are you bringing? Wall tents and such or is it the lightest you can go?
