Heading down to the island on the Easter long weekend. Need to know the best fishing charter company from parksville to Campbell river area.

Ive been to painters lodge in that area. Very nice place from my experience, and great fishing at times as well. Like anywhere on the east side of the island its all about timing the runs it seems.

OBMG is okay but you will get stuck with the guide of their choice. They have some good guides but also several that I would not want to fish with. Check out my buddy Mark Stewart, he is a guide out of Campbell River, he use to guide out of OBMG for several years and is really good, he will put you on the fish if their are any to be caught, you won’t be disappointed. http://www.eastwestcharters.com
