Dad and I havent had great luck so far this late season, but during yesterdays scouting trip we found one of our fields with a good number of geese on it. Well today we woke up to a bunch of snow and wasnt too sure how the day would turn out.
We were set up by 650, and the first two were down fairly quick then we had a quiet spell.. around 9 the birds really started moving and there were many wary ones we couldnt get to commit. But by 11:15 we had 15 geese on the ground, but we had to leave as I have work at 2pm lol. Im sure if we could stay longer we wouldve had our 5 more. Good shoot though, the best part is when dad and I dropped 5 geese in 5 shots, and ofcourse there were misses too haha.
