The story here is that I acquired the whole animal from a fellow HBC member from Fort Nelson, who traps.
We struck a deal and it was sent down to me via good ole' Greyhound!

Got it over to Ray's shop and,,, viola!, it's now in my studio getting its mug shot!
On Monday, it'll be off to the Vancouver Museum, where it will be on display there until mid Sept.

I have to re-shoot its full form,,, evidently there was a slight focus issue that showed up when put on the big-screen. :(
When I have it done, I'll post it up.

In the meantime, ENJOY!

*** Shout out to the member of whom I acquired this from: It's been awhile and I forget your handle... feel free to chime in!

Awesome man. Next to bighorns, it's one of the hardest animal to hunt in BC. I look forward to the day.

That's him!!!
He's the guy that got me the animal.

Kinda feel like a douche not remembering your handle on here but to my credit, I did remember your birth name.

Thanks again.

Let me know if ya do, I'll buy ya a cocktail.
Not sure what kind of evening it will be and who the 'core' of the group will represent.

But I know it'll be entertaining, regardless.
Especially if it attracts a lot of people that think sterilizing bunny's and deer's is a good thing for the cities.

You are welcome again and NO worries about not remembering my handle. Seeing your mount makes me want to have one done myself. Think I'm being too damn fussy about my selection.

I tell ya, after getting this unpacked, I was very happy with it... Nice blaze and collar, and a cool saddle too!
Not the biggest but still a nice sized example though.
