the fishing community lost a great person recently.
mharie sinclaire, of merritt, passed away.
she formed a group called "broads with rods" to teach other women the joys of fly-fishing.

she started fishing with her father in hihiume lake.
and she received her certificate in fly-fishing and casting when she was in her 20's.
I didn't know her, but saw her van all the time, "the trout express", always with her pontoon boat strapped to the back.
I kinda wish I had stopped to talk to her now, as i'm sure I could have learned a lot just in conversation.
she definitely did her part to introduce others to her passion.
sad news, but her teachings live on in those she helped.
