Good Day folks,

I'm new to the Delta Waterfowl scene, was wondering with the upcoming goose opening, Do Canada geese hang out in the Ladner Marsh area in February?

PM's are open answers are greatly appreciated!

Yes, I do plan on having a look, but my question is more of a historic nature. This is my first February here is I have no idea.

Scouting is the key, have been out with my bino's checking all the haunts I know of and yes there is the occasional goose in the marsh...this freeze up makes it even better:twisted:

went scouting 2 days ago. ive got my eye on 2 separate flocks of about 60 in 2 different areas. waiting to hear about permission for one spot but definitely not holding my breath. coulda had a few out of part of that flock as they set into a field I hunt ducks out of until about 10 yards off the ground then flew away to follow the rest into the spot I don't have permission for. had I have brought my gun with me that is.... didn't intend on hunting and it was a total fluke I caught them there. but that's usually how it happens isn't it!
possibly heading out tomorrow morning to set up for first light, just waiting for the go ahead.
haven't hunted these birds yet so im really hoping we can get out and wack a few. ive borrowed a dozen shell decoys and a buddy has a dozen of the good full body ones with the velvet heads.
