Put about 10km on the boots this morning a few weeks ago and came across this guy. I figure he had been there for around 2 years. Not chewed up at all, pretty awesome find.

Nice find! They are in great shape. Funny how some get completely eaten and others get left alone.

beautiful shed, nice find.
really amazing that no critters munched it.

Dualie, its not a shed when it includes the scull cap.
Was the rest of the scull chewed away, or cut?

Looks chewed to me .Stupid law says you need a permit if it`s a dead find.I guess that`s to stop guys from running down a buck out of season and collecting it a year later.Hmmmm 50 dollar rack...$1500 damage to truck.Yep,makes sense.

Nice.
I wonder why some sheds can lay around for a couple years without a tooth mark on them and others are half gone in a month?

No snow, its an unusual year for sure. Good for the ungulates tho.
I cant believe he wasn't chewed up either. I find Elk and Mulie sheds that are a few months old and chewed to heck. Guess it depends on the local squirrel population.
