Terrestrial patterns

Nothing beats fishing a big hooper pattern and watching a fish hammer it on the surface and take off.

I like fish ants, beetles, pretty much any kind of floating terrestrial.

very nice grasshoppers.
I love flying ants.
if one can time a lake for those, it can be wicked.

I have had some wicked days fishing ants. On creek if their is an over hanging tree, drift an ant or beetle under and get ready for a good time
