bison zone A

Has anyone had much luck up 2 bit creek looking for the elusive bison? Its really warm up here, snow is almost gone, rivers are open so it seems that all of the hunters are either hunting caribou flats or the halfway trail. We r looking to get away from the crowds so heading up past where 2 bit turns west up into the flats and swamps north of 2 bit. Just wondering if anyone has hunted up there or ison are known to be up in that eck of the woods

I'm surprised there are still crowds up there, this late into the hunt. I guess the usual intolerable cold didnt push them out. Are you finding and following any tracks on foot for hours on end?

I seen a huge bull yesterday bedded down 40 yrds from the road....it was on the velma?? rd somewhere behing fsj. pretty sure I wasn't in the right mu cuz he didn't have a care in the world...yes very warm...
