I have a friend who wants to mount a bufflehead. Any idea on approximate cost?
Thanks in advance for any info
I know for young attractive ones, it can be fairly costly.

A type of sea duck. As for cost, depending on how elaborate the taxidermy (flying, stand, etc) it will generally run around $350 and up when I was looking

$350 - $700 depending on who does the work and their experience level.

All depends who you go with and what kind of style of mount. I paid $95 per duck and think he did a really good job.

yep,
I just did some calling around for a bird that I am getting done and was told the same. Was also told condition of the brid is a major factor. Sounded obvious to me, but I guess allot of birds are delivered shot to hell.
