4th Photo is a Badger yes only one I have ever seen and he was high tailing it away from me.
I have seen three. All back in the early '60s. One at the corner of Pentiction Ave and Main Street in Penticton where the La Cucinal is. One on Campbell Mountain, also in Pentiction and the third out in the prairies outside of Swift Current SK.
They were not abundant in the Okanagan, but they were present.

Normally I dont like it when guys pipe in with their own stories on someone elses thread, but this is an exception; cool historical information! Who knew?

Anyways, thanks for posting, for me the main enjoyment of the site is the pictures. But I subscribe to Penthouse for the reading... My favorite pic is also the dog and the skull, that should be framed and auctioned off somewhere.
