Yes, this is just a "cull" buck for Reg 9.................that's why I only called it a "decent" buck.

It was at a recent banquet.

Hey SSS, as long as the front feet are on the ground on the public side of the fence, is it okay to shoot it? Or does it just have to be a majority of the body? Or is it like a puck on a goal line and have to be all the way over?

Very nice buck. Done by our favourite taxidermist?

I'll be huntin' in Region 9 this fall, no quad closures there! 8-)

If you were behind the buck and waited a split second you could pull off a nice THS .

I think it's just like football. He just has to break the plane of the fence line. That is, unless he's going the other direction..then he has to be all the way over. Home field advantage..... make up your own rules  !

Recognized his work, eh??

Not too sure about quads restrictions in Reg 9 but it's another place you can make up your own rules. Problem is I can only hunt there while asleep...........

Shooter.....cause if I shot a bigger one, I'd have to find the money to put him on the wall...therefore I will only shoot small deer.....like this one....ugly whitetails

Hybrids just don't size up like purebreds.

He is a lucky person being able to put full mounted animals in his house ,now if i could have met someone like that 40 years ago ,i would have had it made today. 8-) hunter 1947.

Well, he is running out of room. He isn't going to mount a 370"+ gross elk that he shot this past season cause he's already got one of those on the wall. His wife is on a pretty good roll as well and is fighting for wall space:roll: .

The only reason that his wife would not let him life-size that buck was that so she could have room for one of her own!8-)
