Anyone just see the news just now? David Booth from the canucks arganised a Feed the hungry using only wild game. Awsome. 76% of people polled in B.C. support hunting when its for meat. Who says we are the minority.

I support hunting, but not when it's for meat. I'm a minority! lol

Good for Booth!

we are the minority for sure, you think 76% of people would take down a bambi?

That's sure a 180 from when the news reported on him posting a picture of a black bear last year. Good on him for not keeping his lifestyle in the dark.

I think people who support hunting aren't the minority. Just the people that are against it are very vocal about it. Then they use words like "trophy" hunting. Which is a word that doesn't sit well with some people.

This is the event that HBCer Onpoint went to efforts to promote and get the word out. Here's his thread:
http://www.huntingbc.ca/forum/showthread.php?103493-URGENT-game-meat-donations-for-fundraising-dinner-for-the-less-fortunate-this-Friday

Great HBC contributions all around, but especially Onpoint -- guy is in the busiest time of his life (new addition to the family just 3 weeks ago) and still put his shoulder into it. Ripple effect from things like this help us all.
