Finally got around to picking up my trail cam. Been out there since late November. Three days after I set it up this guy walks by. Hoping he made it and he's hanging around for next year. Is this some sort of hybrid? Mulie/WT buck?

Definitely mule deer. What region is this in? Sometimes blacktail deer had very similar antler configurations to whitetail.

Looks like a basic 3-pt mule deer/blacktail? Front fork with rear single tine (bit hard to tell as blurry).

Number one ... that is not any kind of a white tail what so ever


Im %100 confident that is a Blacktail ... and yes , he will be with in a couple miles of this pic next year if he is not killed over the winter.

I would look for his sheds in about 6 inches of snow or less in a month or two.
