I can definitely understand how predators are in decline, in Europe and major metropolitan and tourist areas. Too many people are stupid around animals, and even seeing a predator will force some CO's hand in having to hunt it down needlessly, lest there be a public outcry from the other idiots. :(

Certainly, there are some cases where animals need to be put down, but... yeesh :s

The general public has forgotten or never known what hunger is. When that happens there will be a different outlook on their competition for food.
