Sorry I can't be more helpful, have only seen wipers in action, didn't know they make a machine to jig for you. From everything I've learned about icefishing is nothing beats jigging by hand so you can feel them nibble.

EZjigger is out of business. Try Linden jigger (spelling?). They are a bit expensive, but have good reviews.

thats getting pretty lazy when holding your fishing rod is too much work. is there a tool out there that can shoot our guns for us too?

they are fairly popular back east and in the US states where the regs allow you to fish 2 lines on the ice....I've used one with success...I wouldn't call it a lazy factor, it's an increasing your success factor, they do work

BC is rough to find a good selection of ice gear, you'll probably need to order online

there are wall mounted units that are pretty popular in permanent/sleeper shacks, used with rattle reels, lets you focus on the booze, food and poker, which is usually more important than the fishing on the yearly get together lol
