First Fowl

Nothing fancy, no big story. Been putting some miles on the tires and on the feet looking for geese. Every time I see them, usually by the dozens they are in a no shooting area. The river near my house has been devoid of them lately, having had 200+ earlier in the season. Finally got a shot a a small group this evening and dropped one. Thanks FoxtonGundogs for the advice, and from what I hear the orchard-fed South Okanagan geese taste good this time of year!

Thanks FM. I'm new to hunting in general, but waterfowling really seems to appeal to me!
