It's nice to see those bulls that make through the hunting season. Yesterday I drove a friend to the airport and saw a very nice 30+ inch bull moose. Made my day

Any guesses on the score? I'd go 370. Just my guess.

I think you guys are being a little generous, not sure what I would say but, imo its quite a bit below 370. still a beautiful bull, im glad to see he has survived.

Very cool rack, but looks like he's been through the wringer. Hope he makes it to pass on a few more genes. Good luck to him and Merry Christmas to all.

I tend to agree. He doesn't have long main beams or long tines. His mass is pretty decent. Definitely scores high on the "cool factor" though.

My guess is park bull, Jasper or Banff.

I enjoy seeing bulls post season almost as much as I do Pre season.
It's good to know they have made it through although I doubt this guy has enough reserves to carry him through a hard winter.

If you can try to keep a eye where this bull is wintering maybe you can find his sheds in April..

By the looks of him you might find the whole skeleton.

Very nice bull; I would guess 350ish gross score. You need good tine length all round, to make "370 class" bull IMHO.

Looks like a picture from March or so ...

Skinny butt and shedding his winter coat?

Uncanny similarities to a bull I photographed this summer and fall. The one in the OP is just younger. ;)

Character bull for sure.
Number wise I doubt he is even close to 350 IMO.

Trying to judge any animal off one single pic is tough.

My take......
His brow, bez and trez are all under 15" ......no length up top.....moderate beam length.
(Use the burl to nose as a crab scale)

Having said that.....320-325ish IMO.

Regardless of his estimated score he is a character bull.

He's got age.
He's got junk.
Love it.

Great pic.

Thanks for posting!

If you look closly he is'nt sheding - those are scars from the fighting other bulls ! Sure would like to see what the other guy looks like!Must really be something.
Dana, this pic is in fact 1.5 yrs old since taken. I did find him again,in same area however he was mmmuch more warry and totally unapprochable .I could'nt get pics.I quit pushing him as I Still have dreams of catching him one day . lets see your pic and compare - and also he not as skinny as he looks.tough from the one pic to judge his body mass but he sure looks beat up from this angle .
I dont have a heads up pic as he was a total vacoom and just would not stop eating and when he did move i was with purpose. good huntin

After looking at this bulls antlers score a short time I change my gross score on him I would put the score at 310 to 320ish the antlers G1 G2 G3 as for the others are not that long he has a few extra points on the one side but they are short as well the main beams are not that long ether..
