Ice fishing postponed, due to water top.

Due to the amount of snow we have recieved, the weight has pushed the ice down and there is 6 to 8 inches of water on top of the ice, in the 14 inches of snow. If you slow down with the sled lookout. I really wanted to get out fishing. Might have to switch to snow shoes instead of taking the snowmobile. Need minus 20 to -30 for a week.

One of the things that makes the sphincter muscle pucker when looking behind as you sled across a lake and see water in the track. Sled throttle pinned and beelining. I can never reach shore soon enough.
The other thing is flipping 360° nuts on a slippery slope in your truck or car hoping you don't catch an edge while your sideways.

High 5!! Went out in the pouring rain to try a small lake. Caught 10 kept 7. limit is 8. 4 for supper and 3 for breakfast. Been 9 years since I ate one of these fine fish. Going out on a bigger lake for Lake trout tomorrow. LIG
