Info on winter access to Boulder lake

Just wondering if anybody goes out to Boulder Lake during the winter. Not sure if there are two Boulder Lakes but I'm referring to the one between Tumbler Ridge and Chetwynd. Is it plowed to the access of the lake, or just to the top of that really steep hill? Is it plowed down the road at all? I don't have a sled but don't mind walking into the lake from the parking lot if I can get back up the hill during the winter. Any info from people who have been out there would be great.
