News tonight said govt. is considering opening an LEH season in Cariboo and Kootenay? for grizzlies. Also stated that comments would be received until Dec 20.

Where would one find the link for comments? Goat Guy?

Good to see, but they need a fall Grizz season desperately in region 4 and what about MU 4-08? That MU is crawling with G-bears...

One can eat Grizzly, of course. That said I have not killed nor eaten one. Many I've spoken with consider it unfit for Human consumption, yet you'll find some who speak these same words to the point of eating nearly any animal. The consensus does appear to be that Black Bear is much better meat! Personally, I remain undecided on the matter.

I do wholeheartedly approve of Grizzly Hunting and would love to see seasons open in Regions 4 and 8.

Pick a second choice with low odds and plan the trip. A ton of guys talk about how hard it is to draw grizz, but man there are some amazing opportunities that are simple to draw. Coming from Alberta, I'd say its EASY to draw a grizz tag in BC.

I would sincerely like to see that the LEH for a Grizzly in any region run concurrent with the year you win the tag....not a spring or fall hunt....yes a December hunt also...

I've only eaten interior spring grizzlies. All have been as good as the interior spring black bears that we've eaten.
Too good to leave the meat behind.

Not sure when all the sows were killed, but we ( guide, me and a friend ) shot 4 bores in 4-23 A. The next spring there weren't any tags given out. Tons of bears in 4-23.

After seeing tracks from 6 different grizzlys during my 5 day moose hunt, I welcome the chance to go for one. Save a few moose.
