Duckbuster and I headed out to the bay this morning. Was a bit of ice, but easy enough to paddle through. Started the morning by having a large flock of Teal come in so close we could have reached up from the layouts and touch them. We left the Teal alone today and used them as live decoys. Lots of birds flying and decoying in. Jamie shot a real nice drake Mallard that nearly fell on top of me. Just after 9 am three Widgeon came in closing out our morning with two limits of a mixed bag of birds. I had a some shotgun issues but after the type of season Jamie and I have had, that's just to be expected I guess.:-D

Solid morning, congrats

Was that you we saw in a canoe towing a blind? We showed up saw the ice in the bay and were like "NOPE", grabbed the rifles and chased deer all over the countryside. Good to see the ducks held up their end with you guys braving the cold
