My first white tail (saskatchewan)

It took a little while to get the pics off my phone, but here's a few pics of my first whitetail in Saskatchewan. Even though they say that deer numbers are down due to a very late cold snap last spring after a very hard winter last year, there seemed to be a lot of deer there. Started the hunt on Monday after Grey Cup, hoping for fewer locals due to their hangovers :wink:.

On Tuesday morning my hunt was over. next year I'll hold out for a bigger 5 point........hopefully

Thanks Gents. Hunting in Saskatchewan is unreal. no ghost hunting here. You see these animals from 500 to 1000 yards away and stalk or push. damn cold though. -20 to - 25 in the morning. warming up to a balmy -7 or-8 during the afternoon. Damn tough on a wussy coastal boy like me :???:

Great job and yes deer numbers are way down this year due to a long cold winter and spring, this year so far very little snow. I worked hard for a buck this year harder than other years for sure.

Ya some areas in Sask are doing poorly but yet guys are still killing Booners every year.
