There are no deer in Tulameen.
And, if there were, I wish the damned things would stop wandering around by the River behind us, they get the mutts all upset.

Late season in Princeton we always staked out the lettuce bin behind Overwaitea !

like most deer in BC try south facing slopes of course this is dependent on the amount of snow you have and current tempuatures in the area.
If you have mild winters and not much snow they don't have to move down in Elevation and may not have to seek southern exposure for sunlight to preserve energy and fat stores, and where the snow keeps meling off.

The first deer and 4 pt I ever shot was on Nov 9th just west of Princeton on the Tulameen Road at 10am he was out sunning himself on a very steep slope with 5 doe's, we had over a foot of fresh snow and the area was crawling with deer, we took 3 four points off the same ridge by that afternoon.

Think like a deer I say, the weather will dictate where they have to be this time of year.
Listen to Wayne, Hunter1947 as he gives good advice.
