View Full Version : Anyone paying for coyote or wolf pelts?

Hey guys. Trying to find an excuse to get a new gun, and with predators the way they are this year, I'd love to help out.

It would be irresponsible with my current budget to buy a gun though... if I can pay it off with pelts (or bounties?...) then I can make the "fiscally responsible" excuse to my SO.

Any ideas if this is viable? (even if just in theory ;) )
I live in the Central Okanagan, if that helps.

You have to do the work if you want any $.

You might be able to get some $ out a nice complete wolf, but nobody (that I know of) will pay for a coyote.

Start there, I'm sure you can find some links that might help you out. When I lived in AB I knew the local CO would bag a couple Yotes after his shift was over and sell the fur to the auction house/fur exchange for extra hunting money.

NAFA is the other auction house and the one I prefer to send my fur to.

You will need to put up your own fur to get any $ out of the pelts
