Anyone here about a bounty on wolves?

Heard a rumor at a X-mas party that the BC government is paying a bounty on wolf skulls this year....does anyone have any information wheather this is true or not.
Tried putting a local call into the CO's office this morning but you know how that goes, only got a recording.

No government body is paying a bounty. Some wildlife associations and guides associations are running contests and buying wolf skulls. Stuff like that.

No real info but you could check with any local trappers or cattlemen associations ?
