Most likely an old sow. Probably had something to do with the running and sudden body temperature change from sleeping on the snow to heated sprint. Crazy

Talked with a bio in Golden years back who had a radio collared sow die of a heart attack. She was by all accounts a young healthy grizz, until she fell dead beside a trail and got flown to town for a necropsy. He never said drugs were a factor, but she had been moved something like 6 times in her life apparently, so it kinda makes you wonder.
