LOL, yes there really isn't much of a story to this one.I came downstairs and saw a doe on my lawn. No big deal always does on my lawn. Another on caught my eye and he lifted his head up and wow he has horns. Nice looking buck. Looked at hunt buddy and yep he is still legal. Asked my one daughter if she would like a crack at him and she said no. So grabbed my gun and ran outside(in bare feet:eek:) lined up and shot him. I hit him and he went down the hill. Ran back to house and puts some boots on and followed him and I found him under a tree. Came back up and cancelled tag and went down brought him back to house. Took kids to school and then cleaned him and then went to my school:) I am trying to add a pic but it won't let me add on to my gallery.

Reminds me of a similar situation. A young fellow, very dear to me:wink:, woke up one morning 46 years ago, looked out his upstairs bedroom window, noticed a nice 3-point bt standing in a nearby corral, reached up above his bed, took down his 303, put in a couple of shells, rested his rifle on the windowsill while still lying on his bed, shot the buck, and then ran down the stairs, while barefoot and still in his PJs, past his shocked mother washing dishes, and then out to his downed buck to cut it's throat. Can't reveal his identity for obvious legal reasons:-D.
