135, but I am clueless

I don't think your that far off.
On the left antler it looks like the G2 & G3 come off the same base point so this buck is a 4X3 with a extra point.
The mass is not super but nice, inside spread is about 22".
With that said, gross score 144" and net 130".

What ever the score is, it is still a nice buck with super brows.

Not enough length on all of the tines to go that high... awesome buck though, I'd shoot him all day :)

With Whitetails, you count the brow tine as a point. With a Mulie you do not

I agree with you, but it still a 3x3, main beam doesn't count as a point in b&c scoring, the main beam is the main beam. (main beam,G1 G2 G3)

But you are wrong. From the B&C website:

To be counted a point, the projection must be at least one inch long, with the length exceeding width at one inch or more of length. All points measured from tip of point to nearest edge of beam as illustrated in Figure A. Beam tip is counted as a point, but not measured as a point.

is there a 4 point only whitetail season?
where I hunt it's any whitetail always, and muley changes between any buck and 4 point only.
and it wouldn't matter anyway that's a 4 point whitey.

I've never heard of a 4 pt whitey season, but I sure as hell don't pretend to know everything. It's a 4 point whitey as per the B&C definition I posted on pg 3. Great buck either way.

Good score for a 4 point , he looked heavy but a bit narrow and short on the main beams eh ? That's why 150 is the number to get in the BC book .. its not that easy! I would have thought he was over 150 as well especially in the field .

Yeah it blows me away! . Some People cant read the regs properly . It is up to you to know the rules before hunting its all there in the regulations. If u have to ask u shouldnt be hunting period... Especially animal ID . YOU LEARN IT IN THE CORE. This may make me look like an asshole but seriously read that book over and over its all there.

I wonder how many pass up 3 point whiteys :-?

Or shoot 3 point muleys with brows. Makes me sick to even think about it. Sorry to highjack but shit. And to the OP. Id guess 145 when all is said and done. Nice buck!!!,

Brow tines/eye guards always count.
On a scoring sheet they are the G1 measurements.

There used to be here in Reg8. But that was years ago.
A buck had to have 4 points ABOVE the brow tine.
I had to pass on 2 super bucks because of that restriction.

There's a difference between B&C scoring (where you do count brows) and antler point restrictions where you don't count brows (on mule deer).

Confused yet?

No. It's very clear now, actually.

WT = always count the brow, whether for scoring or otherwise

MD = for legal tine restrictions, don't count the brow, but for scoring, count it.

Thank you to any who have directly or inadvertently educated me on this without feeling the need to be a c*nt about it.
