Region 6 Muley buck

Was fortunate enough to bump into this Buck at first light morning of the 25th. He was following a doe and both were heavy in the Rut. One shot with my .270win was all it took. Bolted after the shot and only went 20 yards. Great end to a great season!


Took me a while to put 4 points on him. Helped that he had other things on his mind.

I will be getting a Euro mount for this buck. Too unique to do nothing with it.

I was thinking it was an older buck. Teeth were in great shape still though. Ministry in region 6 are collecting teeth from 4 point bucks so hopefully they can't get back to me with the age.

One point was busted off. Looked to be from when he was in velvet by the way it peeled. Didn't stop him from fighting, lots of bruises on him.

Yes I had a great year. Tagged a 2 point moose between deer hunts also. Hard hunting and a little bit of luck this season!
