Hey everyone, just wondering if anyone knows how squamish main is? how far id be able to get this weekend, with a 4x4 f150, also if the grouse hunting is still worth it when its raining, or snowing?

Or better yet hunt the pullouts up the sea to sky highway.Its a little more hiking but you don-t have to go far to find blacktails?

A lot of those areas are now closed with more new areas being closed to shooting bylaws/regulations from the Regional District. There is a thread on here recently about it.

Squamish main shooukd be fine. Hasnt snowed in a few days and the past few days have been a weather inversion

Wasn/t that just around Squamish??? I mean most of the east side of the hwy is Garibaldi civil defense zone aka no shooting, but as AFAIK the west side past brackendale is allllllll fair game. other than the few small companies that are there, and pinecrest/black tusk estates/

should be no problem, very little snow at this level.

i'm not sure if they are hauling now but watch for loaded trucks.

thanks guys! ill be going for grouse, is grouse hunting okay in the snow or rain?? dont want to drive all the way out for no reason, thanks

i saw 3 grouse a week ago in the snow up there so by all means give it a shot
